Public Transportation In Indonesia
Public transportation is equipment
for easy to achieve a destination with machine technology. In Indonesia country
the public transportation is very more and not too bad but still looks like
neat less and some transportation are not used again. In general the
transportation is personal own and government own but now majority of resident
have person vehicle because maybe more comfortable and peaceful for them yet
many Indonesia people use public vehicle from government although from private.
Now the public transportation from government is not many, the meaning is
transportation private property more and more enough than government property.
For example transportation from government are Damri bus, busway
(Transjakarta), train, fery ship, garuda Indonesia plane etc and than from
private like tour bus, mini bus, taxi, travel, ship etc. that all are many used
by Indonesia people cause many our people choose good transportation from
physical and quality side.
Researcher of transportation, Djoko
setijowarno said that presentation of public vehicle quantity in big cities
were not achieve 1% from total it. His opinion that quantity of public vehicle
only 2 % or 859.692 units from totally person vehicle. In Jakarta the personal vehicle has achieved
98 % in 2009 ,98.56% in 2010, and 98.84% in 2011, Jogjakarta has achieved 99%
in 2009, 99.20% in 2010, and 99.56% in 2011,while in semarang the personal
vehicle has achieved 99,65 % in 2009, 99.75% in 2010, and 99.80% in 2011.so
little presentation of public vehicle. For example Malaysia, in kuala lumpur
the presentation of public vehicle quantity higher than Jakarta.
More public transportation in jakarta city which still good and comfortable however many transportation do not obey regulation of traffic and there is very crowded with vehicles, the begin from motorcycle, car, bus, taxi etc. so that our capital is not foreign again with air pollution because a lot of carbon gas are produced by the public transportation, not only in Jakarta city but also many transportation were busied in some cities like Bandung city, Jogjakarta city, and Surabaya city. On all there the public transportation as full as with jakarta because the three cities are big cities in Indonesia. And now public transportation is not cared by government so that street and traffic light become busy, fall apart, and it can happen an accident if passengers or drivers are not careful. So many people choose the person vehicle that more safe. In jakarta, there is more building than plants and also CO2 from vehicle is very affect to the air pollution. The result temperature and weather in there is very hot and fresh less.
